Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev)

FedDev Ontario has funding available through their programs to support economic and community development, innovation, and economic diversification, with contributions to communities, businesses and non-profit organization.

Funding programs available through FedDev Ontario to assist entrepreneurs in the SCOR EDC Region are:

National Research Council Canada – Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC-IRAP)

Partnership initiatives have been undertaken with the National Research Council Canada (NRC) an organization with proven program delivery track records. Funding is for 2009-10, and will flow directly to the NRC to deliver the funding. The program provides direct financing support to Southern Ontario firms and organizations for business research and development, with an emphasis on enhancing the innovation and commercialization capacity of small and medium-sized firms.

Economic Development Initiative (EDI)
